As a licensed child and adolescent psychotherapist, I have been specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents and young adults up to the age of 21 since 2012. I treat according to the latest scientific standards of behavior therapy, a well-founded and scientifically recognized therapy method. My area of ​​responsibility includes diagnostics, counseling and therapy for mental illnesses. In my psychotherapeutic practice, you and your child will receive help and support in acute crises, stressful living conditions and general mental illnesses. It is important to me to include caregivers (parents, foster parents and other custodians) in the treatment. This depends on the age of the children and adolescents and the respective problem. In the case of children, caregiver hours are based on educational advice, development advice and / or communication advice. With adolescents and young adults, joint discussions are held and solutions are worked on together. As a certified trauma therapist (DeGPT), I have also been working as a psychotherapist in the Charité Berlin trauma clinic since 2013. Here, in an interdisciplinary team, I treat children and young people who have been victims of acts of violence. These include, for example, domestic violence, sexual abuse, victims of assaults or attacks. In numerous seminars and workshops I have been able to train employees of the youth welfare office or the child protection network as well as family centers, daycare specialist advisory services or volunteer sponsors for underage refugees on the subject of "children, adolescents and trauma".
