The Spreewald primary school on Winterfeldtplatz has been a full-day primary school in a modernized school building with a special theater room and a futuristic leisure center with a sports hall (“Baller-Bau”) since March 1st, 2004 .
Our schoolyard is unique in Berlin: lots of green, great play and sports equipment. Are you curious?
Since August 2002, the Spreewald primary school has been recognized by the Senate School Administration as a “ theater- oriented primary school ”. The Spreewald Primary School offers, in addition to the bound all-day operation , an open all-day option !
We want to encourage and challenge all of our school children. Parents expect their child to learn a lot, but also to encourage their individual and creative abilities. We take that seriously. We know: every child is different and needs all of our attention. No child should be neglected - that is our goal! A good school climate is a prerequisite for good learning. That is why it is important to us that our school is peaceful. We do not tolerate violence.
