Team-der-Kiel-School_2015-klMinimally invasive surgical procedures have a firm place in the surgical treatment of gynecological diseases today. But it was a long way to get there in the last few decades. The corresponding methods have been consistently developed and used in Kiel since the 1970s. Especially under Professor Kurt Semm and Professor Liselotte Mettler, innovative ways were repeatedly pointed out and the foundations laid for the use of endoscopy in gynecology. The Kiel University Women's Clinic has long had relevant experience both in training colleagues from home and abroad and in the endoscopic treatment of corresponding diseases in women. The Kiel School for Endoscopy therefore sees itself as a state-of-the-art training facility. This applies to both a lively training activity and exemplary equipment. The Kiel School for Endoscopy is a certified training center of the Gynecological and Obstetric Endoscopy Working Group (AGE eV).
