Mr. Jack - Guitars n' Stuff

Mr. Jack is not a musical instrument store. It might even seem, to anyone who peeks through the window and sees dozens of guitars hanging and amplifiers leaning against the walls. Or whoever enters the site and finds many of the best brands of everything that has to do with the guitar universe. But that's because Mr. Jack is a store for guitarists. And that is where the difference lies. Unlike general musical instrument stores, Mr. Jack was born to serve exclusively those who have a passion for six strings. Or four. Or seven. Either eight, or ... It all started, precisely, with a passion for guitars. And the lack of a store where they speak the same language as the guitarists. Where they could explain why a humbucker makes less noise than a single coil . Why a flanger sounds better after an overdrive . Or the difference between a maple or rosewood fingerboard . Someone to give advice that you could trust. And, if that site didn't exist in Lisbon, the solution was simple: create it. And that's how Mr. Jack was born, in 2012. First online, with a small business selling instruments and used material. The success was almost immediate and, after a year, Mr. Jack was no longer just an Internet address and a lot of guitars and amplifiers in the guest room. The mound had passed into the basement, which had meanwhile been rented for that purpose. In addition to purchases and sales, questions, requests for opinions and outbursts filled the email box every day. It was time to take the next and most obvious step: opening a physical store.
