CENTER OF DANCE

Managing director, owner, teacher and artistic director of the CENTER OF DANCE. American citizen born in Germany. Dance training at Dr. Hoch's Conservatory and at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts. Engagements at the Essen Ballet under the direction of Heidrun Schwaarz and at the Aalto Ballet Theater under the direction of Martin Putze. At the invitation of Daniela Kurz, engagement at the Nuremberg State Opera. (Awarded the Bavarian Theater Prize for the production Winterreise in 2000) He then dances for the Berlin Ballet / Komische Oper / State Ballet Blanca Li / Adolphe Binder / and for the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Further engagements in film and television: Deutsches Showballett Berlin / ZDF as well as in international productions with Ridley Scott (Prada) and Jo Baier (Henri 4). Oliver Detelich has danced as a soloist in numerous choreographies, including works by internationally renowned choreographers such as Glen Tetley, Hans van Manen, William Forsythe, Nacho Dato, Rudi van Dantzig, Kurt Joos and many others. He danced in well over 1000 shows for up to 500,000,000 spectators.
