I still remember how excited I was to open my English school (English Study Center) when I was only 23 years old. I was young, but, since always, English had been my great passion, and teaching it was a good excuse to be able to put it into practice and continue to expand my knowledge.
Initially, my school specialized in an adolescent and adult audience, but it did not take me long to realize what the headlines today confirm: that, despite the years that our students have studied English, the average level of proficiency it is very low. What a disappointment! I decided that I did not want to resign myself to thinking that my students would be part of the statistics that speak of the failure of the system and of the traditional methodology.
