Description
In 1981 Yamaha released the SR250. Previously in the United States, a model called Exciter was manufactured practically identical to the SR250 between 1980 and 1982. In Spain it began to be manufactured in 1983, for several years being the sales leader, selling some 6000 units per year in the years 1990 and 1991. Its main competitors in its range were the Honda CB 250 and the Suzuki GN 250. It was also manufactured in 125 cc version called SR125.
